Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Committee

The Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Committee is formed to promote the special interests of students in the reserved category. The committee provides special inputs in areas where the students of the reserved category suffer from issues or difficulties. The committee may conduct regular remedial coaching classes on personality development, writing assignments and life skills. The SC ST Committee is also expected to organize interactive sessions and frequent informal meetings with students to discuss and resolve their personal, social and academic problems. AICTE has prepared a manual in order to guide the students to optimally utilise the benefits of the schemes offered by the Government of India.
